M. Mohan Shukla, author of Transformation through Yogic Consciousness, combines a yogic upbringing with scientific learning and the study of leadership in corporate and personal realms. The Six Principles he teaches are founded in deep yogic tradition as well as a modern understanding of the science driving human behavior. Believing that the root cause of most human pain and suffering is a disconnect between the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of life, he developed techniques to recognize this source and take practical steps to achieve balance and harmony. As you follow the self awareness exercises he teaches in his workshops, you begin to understand the role neurophysiology plays in driving your thoughts, feelings and actions. Practice of self mastery promotes healthy and fulfilling relationships, eliminating the toxic effect of emotional pain on the endocrine and autonomic systems. As a life of higher consciousness begins to drive your mind and body, natural healing processes bring clarity, wisdom and peace in everything you do. The journey of transformation begins and you become more productive in your endeavors, focused on your goals and reflexively joyful of every experience that life brings your way.
