Pre-Natal Yoga Teacher Training 100 Hours
We are proud to expand our teacher training program to include a pre-natal yoga teacher training. The curriculum not only meets the Yoga Alliance established guidelines for a certified pre-natal yoga teacher training but also offers additional twenty five hours of training. Our distinguished faculty includes Poonam Gupta, a certified and registered Pre-natal yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Educator and Dr. Ashlesha Raut who is Doctor (Vaidya) of Ayurveda.

This training qualifies existing yoga teachers at the 200 and 500 level to become registered with Yoga Alliance as Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT). This is an excellent opportunity for yoga teachers to grow professionally and to teach prenatal yoga safely and with confidence.

In recent years there has been a tremendous growth in the number of women making healthier choices during pregnancy. One of those choices involve yoga and pranayama (breathing). At our studio in Naperville we find women adopting yoga for the following reasons: help with conception, to remain flexible during pregnancy, and to regain health and vitality post delivery. Our prenatal training goes deeper into all these aspects of a woman’s life. We go over anatomy and physiology of yoga poses, their modifications and ayurvedic approach to pre and postpartum care. It is a very enriching experience for yoga teachers.

Trainees will learn
1. Physical, mental and emotional dynamics of pregnancy
2. Yoga practice suitable for all three trimesters and post delivery
3. Care of mother and child before, during and after pregnancy through principles of yoga and ayurveda.

Eligibility
The program is open to any trained yoga teacher, midwife, doula, nurse or an individual who wants to pursue this for personal growth. However, some prior knowledge of yoga is required.
